Wiers International Trucks is looking for ahigh-energy, hands-on Service Managerto lead our Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Center in Logansport, IN.This is more than a shop management position. Compensation: $80K - $120K
What You'll Do:
  • Lead, recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing technician team
  • Conduct daily huddles and provide clear direction, expectations, and accountability for all direct reports
  • Drive financial performance in alignment with the annual budget, including gross margin, billed hours, WIP, and proficiency
  • Monitor and manage KPIs, P&L performance, and parts inventory to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement
  • Partner with Fleet Account Executives to strengthen, grow, and retain customer relationships
  • Ensure all work leaving the shop meets Wiers’ high standards for quality, safety, and workmanship
  • Maintain full compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures
  • Communicate and reinforce Wiers’ vision, values, and mission while building a positive, high-performance team culture
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; additional education is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
  • Prior leadership experience in a commercial vehicle or fleet maintenance environment
  • Proven track record of managing financial performance and developing high-performing teams
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills
  • Strong understanding of process compliance and quality assurance
  • Strategic planning and project management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Data-driven decision-making with a strong competitive drive 4+ years of management experience in the commercial trucking industry
