About the role
- Safely deliver packages to homes, apartments, and businesses
- Operate a company-provided delivery van
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Use a company-provided handheld device for navigation and delivery confirmation
- Load, organize, and unload packages
- Follow customer delivery instructions
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members
- Work independently while remaining connected to the operations team
- Deliver packages safely and efficiently in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid Driver's License within the state of employment
- Be legally authorized to work in the United StatesHave an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Successfully complete screening requirements
- Be able to operate a delivery van safely
- Have a reliable way to report to the DHX1 delivery station
- Be available for weekend scheduling
- Be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Enter and exit a delivery van repeatedly throughout the shift
- Work outdoors in Houston heat, rain, humidity, and other weather conditions
- Remain active for most of an 8–10-hour shift
- Safely manage a high-volume delivery route
