Job Description:
In this role, you will work actively in a laboratory/pilot line setting on a diverse, multi-functional team producing development-level battery cells to progress our Battery Technology that will be deployed in our next generation electrified vehicles. This will be a very hands-on opportunity with most time spent out at the Pilot Line working with the manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively in a prototype lab with scientists and engineers to make battery cells from raw state-of-the-art production-level battery cell manufacturing equipment through all stages of cell manufacturing – Hands-OnEnsure inventory in-place to conduct development builds Conduct quality inspections on parts you've just produced Collaborate with the quality team to ensure full suite of quality checks are conducted and learnings are fed back to cell build team Drive continuous improvement of operations and process Support establishment of procedures and documentation of lessons learned Minimum Education Required High School/GEDJob Category ManufacturingAdditional Qualifications/Responsibilities QualificationsHigh School Diploma Motivated self-starter and creative problem solver Willingness to be in a hands-on role and learn to operate cell manufacturing equipment Ability to effectively collaborate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Lithium Ion Battery or Electric Vehicle development
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Experience in Production or Prototype manufacturing environment
- Ability to efficiently utilize Microsoft Office tools suite
