Essen Healthcare Child PsychologistEssen Healthcare is expanding its behavioral health services and seeking a Part-Time Hybrid Child Psychologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing psychological support to children and adolescents, working collaboratively with families and other healthcare providers to ensure whole-person care. This role offers flexible hours in a hybrid setting (in-person in the Bronx and telehealth).
Responsibilities: Provide psychological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, or developmental disordersConduct individual and family therapy sessionsCollaborate with pediatricians, psychiatrists, school counselors, and social workersParticipate in care team meetings and contribute to case discussionsDocument assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in EMR systemsEducate families on mental health topics, interventions, and coping strategiesContribute to the expansion of behavioral health services in the communityQualificationsDoctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited programLicensed Psychologist in New York StateMinimum of 3 years of experience working with children/adolescents in clinical settingsFamiliarity with diverse populations and culturally competent careStrong communication, documentation, and clinical skillsComfortable with telehealth platforms and hybrid care modelsPreferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience in urban or community health settings$65 an hourEqual Opportunity EmployerEssen Healthcare is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.
