About the role
Overview
In this role you will help advance Pave’s real-time compensation platform by building core product workflows and features. You’ll collaborate with product and design to deliver data‑intensive capabilities used by compensation teams, managers, and employees. You will own features end-to-end, from rough problem statements to shipped solutions, in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Build and iterate core product workflows and features for compensation intelligence Collaborate with PMs and designers to ship features used daily by customers Own features end-to-end, from problem framing to delivery Develop data-intensive applications with modern web technologies Communicate tradeoffs and rationale clearly with teammates Ship features rapidly and respond to customer feedback
Key requirements 2+ years of full-stack, backend, or frontend engineering experience Proficiency with Type Script and Node.js Experience building data-intensive applications Strong product instincts and customer-first thinking Ability to operate in ambiguity and turn rough problems into shipped features Collaborative communication and cross-functional teamwork Execution-driven mindset with bias toward shipping and iterationcollaborativecustomer-focusedclear communication Type Script Node.jsdata-intensive application development
