About the role
- Operate and maintain automated blow molding and injection molding equipment
- Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments
- Make mechanical repairs within the designated work area
- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary setting adjustments
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks
- Follow product specifications, material requirements, and customer requests
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Enter downtime and scrap information into PICSMaintain proper housekeeping and follow all safety procedures
- Attend required training sessions and weekly team meetings
- Follow ISO standards and company policies
- Report food safety concerns immediately
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Self-motivated and flexible with job assignments
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn through continuous training
- Associate's Degree in Plastics Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field preferred
- Relevant manufacturing or technical experience will be considered in place of education
- Stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- Lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. with assistance
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday
- Frequently use hands for gripping, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and operating tools
- Climb ladders, stairs, platforms, and scaffolding as needed
- Work around machinery, conveyors, confined spaces, and heights up to 20 feet
