About the role
At Silent Falcon UAS Technologies, we are at the forefront of AI and digital twins innovation for airports and transportation infrastructure, revolutionizing operations and enhancing safety. Our mission is to optimize efficiency and drive transformative change in the industry through cutting-edge technology solutions.
Silent Falcon UAS is searching for RF/Spectrum Engineers located in Egg Harbor NJ who can support the FAA with researching the unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This research involves exploring various aspects of UAS, including testing detection and mitigation systems and investigating their applications in airport environments. The research conducted by ATR commands significant attention due to its visible nature and ever-evolving objectives, which play a critical role in enhancing airport safety and optimizing the National Airspace System (NAS).
Key Responsibilities:
Support GDIT program with UAS detection and mitigation technology/system research, testing, and evaluation efforts.
Prepare and execute test plans and test cards for UAS detection and mitigation technologies.
Develop a performance specifications framework for each type of UAS detection and mitigation technology.
Support planning and coordination efforts for the deployment, testing, and evaluation of UAS detection and mitigation technologies/systems.
Perform hazard analysis and safety-related analyses prior to conducting UAS detection and mitigation testing/evaluations.
Conduct spectrum interference testing at each airport before testing UAS detection and mitigation technologies/systems.
Develop a methodology and ranking criteria for selecting UAS platforms for testing against detection and mitigation technologies/systems.
Assist UAS detection and mitigation technology/system vendors with deployment, operation, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, data collection, and removal.
Test and evaluate the performance capabilities of UAS detection and mitigation technologies/systems.
Review, analyze, and report on the data collected during the testing and evaluation period.
Develop pass/fail criteria and metrics for testing/evaluating UAS detection and mitigation technologies.
Fully document all UAS detection and mitigation technology/system test and evaluations performed.
Continually review and analyze collected data to prepare draft Engineering Brief/Advisory Circular language or other guidance documents.
Prepare guidance for best practices in managing the effective use of UAS detection and mitigation technologies/systems at airports.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
