About the role

Assistant Project Manager – Commercial/Industrial Construction We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager with coordinating construction projects. This role assists with resolving issues affecting field teams, provides technical support, monitors quality concerns, and works with internal departments and contractors to minimize delays and prevent rework.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, and project documents. Assist with purchasing, purchase orders, and material tracking. Attend project-related meetings. Update weekly manpower schedules and reports. Track projected versus actual field manpower. Support quality assurance and resolve project-related concerns.
Education and Experience: Two to four years of commercial or industrial construction experience. Associate or bachelor’s degree in project management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in HVAC site work assisting with some or all project management duties will be considered.
Qualifications and Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software such as Primavera P6.Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety regulations. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
