In this role, you'll own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across engineering, product, and data teams.We're looking for someone with a strong track record of identifying and hiring technical talent in fast-moving environments. You should be confident working independently, using data to inform decisions, and building trust with hiring managers through clear communication and sound judgment.The right candidate is self-motivated, resourceful, and focused on results. You approach your work with urgency and accountability, and you're not afraid to step into complexity or challenge assumptions. This is a role for someone who is ready to take on meaningful responsibility and who brings the focus and drive of someone with something to prove.RESPONSIBILITIESSource and hire the best technical talent with a focus on quality, fit, and long-term impactManage full-cycle recruiting - from sourcing through offer - while maintaining clear, respectful communication with all candidatesWrite thoughtful, accurate job descriptions in partnership with Engineering and Technical leadershipProactively identify and engage qualified candidates through multiple sourcing channelsServe as a strategic partner to hiring managers and stakeholders, offering guidance on process, market insights, and hiring decisionsUphold a consistent, structured interview process and coordinate logistics across all interview stagesUse data to track progress against key recruiting metrics and inform decisionsMaintain transparency, fairness, and discretion throughout the hiring processSupport cross-functional initiatives, including onboarding, employer branding, and inclusion effortsCommunicate with clarity and honesty - treating every candidate with respect, even when delivering difficult decisionsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in a relevant technical or human resources fieldMinimum of 5 years of technical recruiting experience in fast-paced startup and/or agency environments (ideally both)Proven ability to independently own and execute recruiting strategies, including stakeholder reporting and business reviewsProficient in applicant tracking systems—preferably GreenhouseStrong understanding of recruiting metrics and how to track progress against goals with accuracyAble to influence stakeholders and guide decisions through clear communication and dataDemonstrates sound judgment, discretion, and respect in all candidate and stakeholder interactionsExperienced in building scalable recruiting programs and improving existing processesDeep understanding of technical functions and the ability to assess technical talent effectivelyCapable of managing multiple, varied requisitions simultaneously with precisionHighly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical in approachProactive, self-motivated, and dependable - able to work independently and follow through without being promptedMaintains a high standard of integrity and professionalism in every aspect of the workBELONG TO A BETTER COMPANYComprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability)Competitive salary (DOE) + equity401k Employer Match9 Observed HolidaysFlexible Paid Time OffSubsidized ClassPass Membership with access to fitness classes and wellness and beauty experiencesAbility to work in our beautiful co-working space at WeWork in Playa Vista and other locationsFree Thrive Market membership with exclusive employee discountCoverage for Life Coaching & Therapy Sessions on our holistic mental health and well-being platformWe're a community of more than 1 Million + members who are united by a singular belief: It should be easy to find better products, support better brands, make better choices, and build a better world in the process.At Thrive Market, we believe in building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic culture.
