About the role

A NYC Fintech are seeking a mid-market Account Executive to join their growing team. Responsibilities of the Account Executive: Own the full sales cycle — run multi-stakeholder deals across departments like leadership, compliance, IT security, and legal, from first contact through to signed contract. Understand your buyers deeply — research the structure, goals, and decision-making dynamics of prospect organizations to tailor your approach. Deliver polished proposals — personally build and present tailored materials to prospective clients. Collaborate cross-functionally — work closely with sourcing, technical, and post-sale teams to move deals forward and ensure smooth onboarding after close. Manage compliance and risk conversations — guide prospects through regulatory and security review processes, looping in internal experts when needed. Requirements of the Account Executive:5+ years of relevant sales experience in financial services, wealth management, or B2B SaaS, including at least 2 years directly closing deals. Experience selling to committees — comfortable negotiating with multiple stakeholders (3-5+) and navigating regulated industries. Strong self-sourcing track record — history of generating a significant share of your own pipeline through prospecting and networking. Consistent quota achievement and demonstrated ability to close deals with urgency and persistence. Excellent communication skills — confident presenting to senior executives, strong written skills for business cases, and a collaborative, organized working style. They are offering a base salary of $110,000 with a 50/50 split OTE ($220,000), as well as hybrid working in their NYC office. If this sounds like a fit please apply immediately.
