General Assembly The General Assembly Associate assembles industrial doors and components in a manufacturing environment. This position requires experience using hand and power tools, reading a tape measure accurately, following work instructions, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced production setting.

General Assembly Details: Temp-to-Hire position$17.00 to $18.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure, including fractions Experience using hand and power tools Manufacturing or assembly experience Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions Assemble industrial doors and components according to specifications and work orders Measure, cut, drill, fasten, and align materials during production Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards Load, unload, and prepare materials and finished products as needed
General Assembly Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred Must be able to read a tape measure accurately Experience with hand and power tools Basic math and measurement skills Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Stand and walk for most of the shift Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance as needed Perform repetitive tasks throughout the day Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist regularly Work in a non-climate-controlled environment ranging from approximately 50°F to 110°FApplicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
