Regulatory & Compliance Manager

Position Overview: Rierden Chemical & Trading Co. (RCT) is seeking a Regulatory & Compliance Manager to lead our regulatory, compliance, quality, certification, and continuous improvement programs. This role will work cross-functionally across Operations, Customer Excellence, Sales, Supply Chain, suppliers, warehouses, and business partners to strengthen compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Regulatory & Compliance Leadership Lead RCT's Regulatory & Compliance team. Maintain and improve regulatory, quality, compliance, and product stewardship programs. Develop and maintain policies, SOPs, records, and compliance documentation. Alliance for Chemical Distribution (ACD) Lead RCT's ACD Responsible Distribution program. Conduct internal audits and manage audit readiness. Coordinate corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. FDA - Food Safety & Food Defense Program Administer the RCT program to ensure a thorough & robust food safety and food defense system. Kosher Program Manage RCT's Kosher certification program. Maintain certifications, product approvals, records, renewals, and audit readiness. Organic Program Lead RCT's USDA NOP Organic program. Manage certification, traceability, documentation, audits, supplier approvals, and renewals. Continuous Improvement Manage RCT's Continuous Improvement Program for business systems and processes. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, consistency, and documentation. Complaints & Non-Conformance Lead customer complaint and non-conformance investigations. Manage root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive actions, and effectiveness reviews. Management of Change (MOC) Manage RCT's MOC program. Ensure significant changes involving products, suppliers, warehouses, processes, or systems are properly reviewed, approved, documented, and communicated. Product Approvals Manage new and existing product approval processes. Review specifications, SDSs, COAs, certifications, regulatory documentation, and related requirements. Supplier Approvals Manage supplier qualification, approval, and periodic review programs. Monitor supplier documentation, certifications, quality performance, and corrective actions. Warehouse & Partner Approvals Manage qualification and approval of warehouses, terminals, repackers, carriers, and other supply-chain partners. Maintain approval criteria, risk assessments, and ongoing performance reviews. Partner Audits Develop and manage a risk-based partner audit program. Conduct or coordinate supplier, warehouse, terminal, repacker, and logistics partner audits. Track findings, corrective actions, and audit effectiveness.
