Location: Baraboo, WI (Work from home when not traveling)
Job Type: Full-time
Travel: 30% to 50%Pay: $150,000 to $180,000 per year, plus commission Lead the growth of a specialized water treatment business unit, bringing new products to market and building OEM, distributor, dealer, and private-label accounts from the ground up. Must-Haves 5+ years selling residential or light commercial water treatment equipment Technical knowledge of water chemistry, applications, and equipment sizing Proven full-cycle sales track record, from lead generation through close Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and AI productivity tools Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer visits and trade shows
What You'll Do: Own the full sales cycle, including lead generation, sample testing, quotations, and commercial proposals Win new OEM, distributor, dealer, plumbing, and private-label accounts Serve as the technical expert on water softeners, filtration, reverse osmosis, control valves, tanks, and media Guide customers through product selection, application testing, and troubleshooting Introduce new water treatment products to the marketplace Grow key accounts through regular reviews and expansion opportunities Maintain an accurate, qualified Salesforce pipeline Coordinate customer needs, forecasts, and timing with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Service Partner with the General Manager on account priorities and risks Nice-to-Haves Hands-on expertise with softeners, filtration, RO, control valves, tanks, and media Existing relationships with OEMs, distributors, dealers, or private-label customers WQA education, certification, or industry involvement
Compensation and Benefits: $150,000 to $180,000 per year 2% to 3% commission on all sales for 24 months (expected $20K to $40K in year one, with significant growth after) Health and dental insurance Life and disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and vacation Work from home when not traveling
