About the role

Job Description: We’re hiring an experienced Laser Operator for a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Livermore, CA, working a day shift Monday through Sunday, including weekends as needed. The assignment is expected to last 12–18 months and requires a background check. In this role, you’ll operate and maintain laser cutting equipment, calibrate and adjust cutting parameters, maintain cut quality, perform routine cleaning and maintenance, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and help minimize downtime while supporting production goals.
Responsibilities: Operate and maintain CO2 and Fiber laser equipment. Calibrate and focus lasers and adjust focus, speed, and gas pressure to maintain cut quality. Clean cutting lenses, mirrors, and AutoLAS filter screens as needed. Monitor equipment, interpret alarms, and identify basic malfunctions. Load raw material into the Tru Store system and maintain the laser drop rack for efficient material use.
Requirements: Minimum 1 year of Laser Operator experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues. Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills. Forklift license preferred but not required. Willingness to complete a background check.
