About the role

We're looking for a part-time Pharmacist to join our team! This role supports our Animal Health business; No weekends, no evenings, no holidays! Ensure all prescriptions dispensed meet all federal, state and local regulatory requirements Maintain secure, clean and safe pharmacy/warehouse Business Planning Status regularly with manager to discuss business priorities and current operations Communicate with veterinarians and office staff to build strong working relationships Mentor staff, measure performance, and complete and/or provide input on performance reviews Resolve employee issues in an effective and consistent manner Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. from an accredited school of pharmacy Good computer skills with various applications Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and an independent, accountable, dependent performer Current state Board of Pharmacy license with the ability to obtain reciprocal licenses in other states Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience Background in veterinary pharmacy Must be able to move product weighing up to 50 pounds onto conveyor belt up to 10 times per hour. This position requires occasional or frequent moderate physical activity Environmental Factors This position requires low exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures, high voltage, dirt or dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, hazardous chemicals and hazardous machinery.
