About the role
- Manage environmental, health & safety consulting service for client productions
- Evaluate production concepts, scripts, and pitches for safety and environmental concerns
- Collaborate with Production Executives, Producers, and Unit Production Managers to mitigate safety risks
- Support productions in planning and execution phases; assess safety needs and secure vendors
- Attend technical scouts and production meetings
- Develop and distribute the Production Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
- Mentor other safety professionals
- Evaluate sets, stages, and locations for safety issues and recommend corrective actions
- Respond to and investigate production incidents and emergencies
- Coordinate and deliver EHS training to production employees
- Promote safety culture and injury reduction initiatives
- Maintain relationships with industry safety bodies and regulatory agencies
- Resolve safety issues quickly during production
- Collaborate with risk managers and insurers on loss prevention
- Research applicable regulations based on filming locations
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders
- OSHA 30-Hour certification
- Experience in events, studio or on-location production environments
- Deep understanding of events, TV and film production practices, equipment, and safety considerations
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, WebExAbility to work under pressure and handle confidential matters
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
- Must have or be able to obtain valid documentation for international travel
- Recommended Qualifications
- Degree in safety management, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations Facilities EHS and Production Safety hybrid experience

- Reliable transportation or ability to self-report to and from work required for local hires Ability to: Walk for extended periods and sit for long durations
- Work at heights (catwalks, ladders, roofs, scaffolding, etc.)Perform physically demanding tasks in diverse outdoor weather conditions
