About the role
To accelerate payer adoption and market access for diagnostic solutions, the full-time Senior Director of Market Access Strategy will develop and execute strategies for Medicare and commercial payers, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships with health plans while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and execute market access strategies for Medicare and commercial payers to enhance coverage and reimbursement
Negotiate contractual agreements with national and regional payers, including Medicare Advantage and Medicaid organizations
Build and maintain strategic relationships with health plans and engage with payer stakeholders to advance diagnostic adoption
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field
12+ years of progressive healthcare experience in market access, payer strategy, or reimbursement
Experience directly engaging with national and regional health plans or Medicare organizations
Demonstrated ability to negotiate payer contracts and understand Medicare policy and reimbursement methodologies
Strong knowledge of value-based care models and diagnostic reimbursement pathways
