Job Description: Job Description Commercial Electrician, Commercial ConstructionIrwindale, CA Full-Time Some TravelLOOKING FOR MORE THAN THE TYPICAL ELECTRICAL JOB?We're hiring a Commercial Electrician to join a specialty construction team based in Irwindale, CAThis is a hands-on role for an electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, building, and working on unique projects. You'll perform electrical installation and troubleshooting while also working alongside other skilled trades on specialized construction and equipment installationsWHAT YOU'LL DO:Install, terminate, connect, and troubleshoot electrical wiring and componentsInstall conduit, cable, junction boxes, disconnects, panels, fixtures, and electrical equipmentRead and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, plans, and specificationsAssist with electrical testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and system commissioningIdentify electrical issues and help determine corrective actionWork alongside welders, fabricators, technicians, and other skilled tradesAssist with the assembly and installation of specialty structures and equipmentUse hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and construction equipmentFollow electrical codes, project specifications, and job-site safety requirementsMaintain tools, equipment, and a safe, organized work areaWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Previous electrical experience in commercial, industrial, construction, or specialty environmentsWorking knowledge of electrical wiring, conduit, panels, and componentsAbility to read electrical drawings and construction plansExperience using hand and power toolsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsComfortable working from ladders, lifts, and elevated work areasAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable attendance and strong work ethicValid driver's licenseSafety-focused approach to your workAbility and willingness to travel based on project needsElectrical trade school, apprenticeship, fabrication, welding, mechanical, or industrial experience is a plus. TRAVEL & WORK ENVIRONMENT:Some projects require domestic and occasional international travel, including work at remote or specialized project sitesThis is an active, field-based position.
