About the role
Adjunct Pharmacy Technician Faculty The Adjunct Pharmacy Technician Faculty will perform instructional responsibilities as required. Adjunct Pharmacy Technician Faculty must demonstrate teaching skills by selecting and implementing instructional strategies for teaching, and assessing student achievement of the learning objectives of the program. Examples of
Duties:
Meet with courses and laboratories at scheduled times. Instruct, advise, consult with and evaluate the performance of enrolled students. Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, course reference/bibliography, assignments, tests, and other course student records, attendance, grades, and/or other documentation as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise with at least three years of experience, and current knowledge in the areas in which they are instructing. Adhere to state regulations for licensure or registration to practice as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician. Faculty/instructors that are pharmacy technicians maintain national experience in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Mathematics, Pharmacy Operations, etc. Successfully pass a criminal background check.
Supplemental InformationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree and community college teaching experience. STATUS/SALARY: This is an Adjunct Faculty position. Salary is determined by the Adjunct Faculty Union Contract.
