About the role

The Division of Pediatric Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), is seeking a full-time pediatric surgeon to join the faculty. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible and be able to maintain an Oregon State medical license. Experienced physicians and those directly from fellowship are welcomed to apply. The faculty member will engage in leading our missions of healing, teaching, and discovery. Oregon Health & Science University has an excellent ACGME accredited General Surgery Residency Program and Pediatric Surgery Fellowship with a strong national reputation. Candidates must demonstrate clinical excellence in the management of pediatric surgical conditions and a passion for teaching pediatric surgery fellows, general surgical residents and medical students. OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital is verified as a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and a Level 1 Site for Children's Surgery by the American College of Surgeons. Responsibilities include a busy clinical practice incorporating complex neonatal, minimally invasive, oncologic, trauma, fetal, and ECMO care spanning two hospital systems. As the state's only health and research university, OHSU brings together patient care, research, education and community service to improve the health and well-being of all Oregonians. Patients from Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Northern California are referred for care.
