Role Description: The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Glendale, AZ. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong relationships with shippers, and serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing logistics needs. Day-to-day tasks include identifying customer requirements, coordinating transportation solutions with internal operations teams, tracking shipments, and resolving service issues in a timely and professional manner. The Account Executive will monitor account performance, prepare quotes and proposals, and collaborate with team members to ensure cost-effective, reliable service. The role also involves prospecting new business opportunities, maintaining accurate account records, and contributing to continuous improvement in customer service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications: Logistics and transportation knowledge, including familiarity with 3PL services and time-sensitive, high-volume shipping. Customer relationship management skills, with experience in account management, client communication, and service issue resolution. Sales and business development abilities, including prospecting, qualifying leads, preparing proposals, and negotiating pricing. Operational coordination skills, such as scheduling shipments, monitoring carrier performance, and ensuring on-time delivery. Strong organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and use of CRM or TMS software. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly to internal teams and customers. Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., MS Office suite) and comfort working with technology-driven logistics tools. Ability to work on-site in Glendale, AZ, manage multiple priorities, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or account management; a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is beneficial but not required.
