Supporting that mission is the Friends of Koreshan, a dedicated group of local and seasonal volunteers who work together to fundraise for park operations. One of their key fundraising efforts is the Ranger Station gift shop—and we're looking for someone to help it thrive.
About the Role: The Gift Shop Manager plays an important role in shaping the visitor experience while supporting park preservation efforts. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term operations of the shop, including: Selecting, ordering, and receiving merchandise Maintaining inventory and tracking sales Styling and organizing displays to create an inviting shopping experience Collaborating with park staff and volunteers on sales and operations Sourcing and building relationships with local vendors to offer unique, meaningful products What Makes This Opportunity SpecialDirectly supports fundraising for park operations and preservation Creative freedom to curate and style the shop Opportunity to highlight local artisans and vendors Flexible schedule—this role can be shared among multiple volunteers Whether you enjoy retail, organization, creative display, or connecting with local makers, this is a rewarding way to contribute to the park's mission.
