This full‑time position offers an hourly pay rate of $21.44/hr, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes major medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 403(b) retirement plan, short‑ and long‑term disability, AD&D coverage, ASPCA pet insurance, a DoorDash discount, 20 days of paid time off per year, 12 paid holidays, and one floating holiday. The Welcome Desk Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, providing clerical support, and coordinating office activities to ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves handling incoming visitors, calls, and office-related tasks, requiring exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. The Welcome Desk Receptionist plays a key role in maintaining a welcomingenvironment and ensuring the efficient flow of office activities. This position is an essential part of the office team, ensuring seamless operations and providing excellent customer service to both internal andexternal stakeholders This is a full-time union position that requires full-time in-office work. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with two 15-minute breaks and a one-hour lunch. Toensure smooth daily operations, the union administrative team provides coverage during breaks, lunchperiods, and approved PTO.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred
