We are looking for a driven, hunter-minded Inside Sales Representative to join our onsite team at our Charlotte corporate headquarters. Position Summary:
As an Onsite Inside Sales Representative focused on New Business Development, your primary mission is to aggressively prospect, qualify, and close net-new commercial accounts. You will spend a significant portion of your day on the phone executing high-volume outbound calling campaigns to drive growth, educate prospects on our vast product catalog (over 200,000 items), and expand our market footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
· Outbound Prospecting: Execute high-volume daily outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to targeted leads to unearth net-new business opportunities.· New Account Acquisition: Take ownership of the full sales cycle from initial cold call to close, successfully onboarding new B2B customers.· Product Education: Educate prospective and existing clients on Brooks Equipment’s expansive line of fire safety, suppression, and industrial safety products.· Pipeline Management: Track all calls, leads, and account statuses accurately using our CRM and internal tracking software.· Collaboration: Partner closely with internal customer service and operations teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and order fulfillment.· Continuous Learning: Attend ongoing internal training sessions to master our product lines, industry regulations, and competitive positioning.
What We Are Looking For:
(Qualifications)· Sales Drive: A proven track record or burning desire to work in an outbound, goal-oriented sales environment. "Hunter" mentality is a must!· Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a confident, persuasive, and professional phone presence.· Resilience & Grit: Comfortable handling rejection, overcoming objections, and maintaining a positive, energetic demeanor.· Tech Savvy: Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and navigating dual-monitor setups efficiently.· Experience: 1–3 years of B2B inside sales, tele-sales, or business development experience is preferred, but hungry entry-level candidates with a competitive background will be considered.· Location: Must be able to work onsite at our Charlotte, NC corporate office.
