Job description:We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer with strong React expertise to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable backend services and modern, responsive frontend interfaces. Experience in the banking/financial services domain is a strong advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot/Spring Framework) on the backend and React.js on the frontendBuild and consume RESTful APIs/microservices to support business-critical applicationsCollaborate with product owners, business analysts, and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into technical solutionsWrite clean, maintainable, well-tested code following industry best practices and design patternsParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessionsOptimize application performance, scalability, and securityIntegrate applications with databases (SQL/NoSQL), third-party APIs, and internal systemsTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely mannerParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectivesContribute to CI/CD pipelines and support deployment processesEnsure compliance with security, data privacy, and (where applicable) regulatory standardsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5-10 years of hands-on experience in full-stack Java developmentStrong proficiency in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPAStrong hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architectureExperience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologiesStrong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsBanking/financial services domain experience is a strong plus (e.g., core banking, payments, fraud detection, lending, compliance, or trading systems)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with messaging/event-streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)Knowledge of security standards relevant to financial systems (PCI-DSS, SOX, OAuth2)Exposure to state management libraries (Redux, Context API) and modern frontend toolingExperience working in regulated, high-availability, or mission-critical environments
