About the role
Reasonover Talent Group is currently recruiting for an Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper for a long-term contract engagement with a high-profile client located in Boca Raton, FL. This is an onsite position. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys supporting day-to-day business operations and working closely with senior leadership.
What You’ll Do:
Reporting to and supporting the Controller and CFO, responsibilities will include: Process and enter vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable activities Assist with basic bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations Support preparation and processing of 1099s and maintenance of vendor records Review accounting documentation for completeness and accuracy Assist with expense tracking, coding, and documentation Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation Assist with data entry and updates in Quick Books and Bill Research and resolve routine invoice or transaction discrepancies Prepare basic reports and spreadsheets Assist the Controller and CFO with ad hoc accounting, administrative, and special projects
What We’re Looking For:
Previous bookkeeping, accounting assistant, or similar accounting support experience Working knowledge of accounts payable, reconciliations, and general accounting processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with Excel Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Professional, dependable, and comfortable working with confidential financial information Able to work independently while supporting a small finance team
