Position Overview:
A leading home décor company in New York City is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Sales / Head of Divisionsto lead multiple business divisions while driving national sales growth and strategic business development. This executive-level position is responsible for developing sales strategies, expanding key accounts, leading cross-functional teams, and overseeing the performance and profitability of multiple product categories. The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with extensive experience in the home décor, home furnishings, consumer products, or wholesale industry who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth across multiple business divisions. Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams while fostering a culture of accountability and success. Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with retailers, distributors, and strategic partners. Manage and grow key national and regional customer accounts. Collaborate with product development, sourcing, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction. Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities. Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans while monitoring performance against company objectives. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term business agreements with key customers. Establish performance metrics and monitor KPIs to maximize profitability and operational efficiency. Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events. Partner with executive leadership to develop long-term growth strategies and expand market share.
