About the role

To support ongoing optimization and production support for Workday Financials, the full-time remote Principal Workday Financials Consultant will manage multiple client engagements, focusing on the Financial Data Model (FDM) and Record to Report (R2R) processes while providing strategic guidance and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Act as a lead Financials consultant on multiple client engagements with limited direction Understand client financial business requirements and provide strategic guidance throughout design, configuration, testing, and production efforts Support clients through complex financial annual events, fiscal year-end close, and periodic reporting cycles as needed Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on configuration experience within Workday Financials, focusing on FDM or R2R Proven track record of supporting or leading post-production, AMS, or implementation projects for Workday Financials clients Deep expertise in Workday FDM design, journal entries, ledger setup, and financial reporting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) Active Workday Financials certification preferred
