Overall Purpose
Design, implement, and manage sales compensation plans through focused project management, aligning with business objectives to motivate sales teams and drive revenue growth.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Designing and Administering Compensation Plans: Develop, design, and administer comprehensive sales compensation, incentive, and recognition programs that align with strategic goals.
Implementation and Communication: Manage the implementation of compensation plans, communicate changes, and ensure all stakeholders understand the policies and procedures.
Performance Analysis and Benchmarking: Analyze compensation plans and competitive data to ensure effectiveness, generate insights, and recommend necessary adjustments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Management: Collaborate with HR, finance, and sales leadership, leading cooperative efforts on project teams and ensuring alignment with business strategies.
Stakeholder Support and Policy Interpretation: Provide support and consultation to stakeholders, explaining and interpreting sales compensation policies and procedures.
Job Contribution
An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
