About the role

Summary: Develop or redesign electrical controls for new or existing products. Work from order requirements or specifications to create final control circuitry and program logic using software and engineering calculations. Capable of working independently and may lead customer orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design electrical controls/systems for products Write PLC, HMI, PC, and other control programs Create Sequence of Operations, Control Schematics, and Control Panel layout drawings using CAD software Create bills of material and routings for cost estimates and manufacturing Create owner's manuals, test procedures, and other engineering deliverables Perform electrical computations for sizing components Provide technical support during manufacturing Provide field support as required Lead Engineer for sales orders: customer interaction, vendor communication, project management Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Knowledge of NFPA 70, National Electric Code, and NFPA 79 Ability to troubleshoot electrical control circuits Proficient with AutoCAD, Electrical Leadership skills for Lead Engineer role General knowledge of PLC, HMI, and PC-based control hardware/software Ability to collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Degree with 1 year experience or Associate's Degree in electrical engineering with 4 years relevant experience.
