Role:
Executive Director, Clinical Development, leading global neuropsychiatric and rare disease clinical programs at Acadia Pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities:
develop and execute clinical development plans
oversee study design, data analysis, and reporting
foster relationships with investigators and thought leaders
support regulatory submissions
provide scientific expertise to transition compounds from discovery to development and lifecycle management
review business development opportunities
ensure compliance with GxP, regulatory, and ethical standards
Requirements:
MD or equivalent, with 10+ years in clinical practice, research, or pharma
experience across multiple development phases
established relationships in depression, mood disorders, or neurology
leadership in cross-functional, geographically diverse teams
excellent communication and problem-solving skills
willingness to travel domestically and internationally
