Job Description: We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Automotive Technician who can hit the ground running. You should be comfortable working independently while being a dependable team player. Because you will occasionally interact with clients, answer phones, and assist with scheduling, strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism are required.
Key Responsibilities: Perform automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and general mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately. Conduct state safety inspections and emissions testing. Answer incoming shop phones, speak with customers, and schedule service appointments as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Represent Schuster Automotive with integrity and top-tier customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements: Licensing: Valid State Inspection & Emissions Licensepreferred
Experience: Demonstrated track record of stable, consistent mechanical experience. Commute: Must reside within a 30-minute driveof the shop. Driver’s License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Work Ethic: Highly reliable, punctual, and able to work independently without constant oversight. Tools: Basic hand/power tools required for daily mechanical tasks. Schedule & Benefits
Schedule: Full-time (Monday through Friday) 8am-4pm
Competitive Pay: $15.00 – $30.00/hr starting rate (commensurate with experience) Immediate opening with a fast-track hiring process.
