This role also involves owning aspects of, and supporting the design, development, and implementation of, innovative solutions that help shape the company’s technical vision.Primary Responsibilities:Design, prototype, and develop technical solutions using modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools to contribute to the creation of scalable, secure, and innovative solutionsSupport evaluation and implementation through iterative development and prototypingAssist in completing and documenting evaluations of products, systems, and software across architectural and technical domains including interfaces, services, dependencies, and limitationsPresent research findings and technical insights to team members and technology leadership in a clear and concise mannerAid in the creation of “technology shorts” videos and other culture empowerment content for the broader organizationParticipate in presentations and demos at various internal technology forums to share knowledge and promote innovationWork collaboratively within and across technical teamsBe flexible and proactive, taking on tasks that may extend beyond traditional development rolesDemonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Be someone the team can rely on to get things doneSchedule and facilitate meetings as needed, and actively communicate with team members and leadership on projects status(es), blockers, and next stepsMinimum Requirements:1+ year of programming experience and a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent experience through coursework, internships, or work experienceProficiency in Java or other programming languages such as C#, Python, or similarAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear concepts for various stakeholdersStrong business and technical aptitude with willingness to learn business and software solutionsSolid understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, and technical problem-solvingStrong organizational, analytical, decision making, communication, and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, and prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environmentHigh level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility across teams and stakeholdersPreferred Requirements:Familiarity or experience with cloud technologies such as Google Cloud, AWS, or AzureExperience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools is a plusBasic technical knowledge of networking, operating systems, and source control systemsExperience with IDEs and build tools such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio, or MavenExperience developing and consuming RESTful APIsExperience with Git or other version control systems
