About the role
Atom is a digital transformation and enterprise consulting firm helping organizations modernize through cloud, data, automation, and emerging technologies. We deliver high-impact solutions across ERP, HCM, CRM, Data & Analytics, and AI, partnering with leading platforms including Oracle, Workday, SAP, and Salesforce.
The Opportunity:
Atom is seeking a highly driven, hands-on Sales Director focused on winning new logos, developing qualified pipeline, and generating net-new revenue. This is a true new-business “hunter” role. We need someone who proactively identifies opportunities, opens doors, builds relationships, and creates demand—not someone dependent on inbound leads, referrals, or an established account base. Initially, this will be an individual-contributor position with direct access to Atom’s CEO, leadership, solution, and delivery teams. As the business grows, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to build, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy focused on acquiring new enterprise clients and generating net-new revenue.
Build a qualified pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting, cold outreach, networking, partner relationships, industry events, and account-based selling.
Identify and engage key decision-makers across mid-market and Fortune 1000 organizations.
Create opportunities from the ground up rather than relying primarily on inbound leads or referrals.
Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, solution development, proposal creation, negotiation, and close.
Build relationships with C-suite executives and senior business and technology leaders.
Sell complex consulting and transformation engagements across Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, SAP, ERP, HCM, CRM, Data, and AI.Collaborate with Atom’s leadership, solution architects, and delivery teams to develop tailored client solutions and proposals.
Maintain an accurate, measurable pipeline with clear forecasting, opportunity progression, and revenue accountability.
Represent Atom at client meetings, industry conferences, partner events, and executive networking opportunities.
Help establish Atom’s sales processes, messaging, market positioning, and new-business development strategy.
As revenue and pipeline grow, support the recruitment and development of a successful sales team.
Qualifications:
7+ years of enterprise software, technology consulting, or professional-services sales experience.
A proven track record of winning new logos and generating revenue through proactive new-business development.
Demonstrated ability to build a qualified pipeline from the ground up without depending on inbound leads or referrals.
Experience selling large-scale implementation, transformation, or consulting engagements valued at $5M+.A history of consistently achieving or exceeding annual revenue quotas of $2M–$5M+.Experience developing and closing complex, multi-year engagements involving multiple solutions and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of enterprise transformation platforms such as Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, SAP, or comparable cloud technologies.
Experience selling to mid-market, enterprise, or Fortune 1000 organizations.
Existing relationships across enterprise accounts, technology partners, or industry networks are highly desirable.
Background with or alongside a major consulting organization such as Deloitte, Accenture, PwC, KPMG, or IBM Consulting is preferred.
Strong executive presence with the ability to lead credible conversations with C-suite stakeholders.
Excellent prospecting, discovery, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Entrepreneurial, resilient, commercially driven, and comfortable operating independently in a growing organization.
Motivated by the opportunity to build—not simply inherit—a pipeline, client base, and future sales function.
What Success Looks Like:
Establishing a consistent and measurable qualified pipeline of net-new opportunities.
Opening doors and building relationships with new target accounts.
Converting outbound activity into executive meetings, proposals, and closed revenue.
Securing new enterprise logos and expanding Atom’s market presence.
Creating a repeatable sales strategy that can support and scale a future sales team.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
