About the role
To support a growing specialty concrete contractor, the full-time Texas Licensed Structural Engineer will analyze and design concrete structures for industrial and commercial projects, prepare engineering documents, and serve as the primary internal resource for structural engineering needs, with the flexibility to work remotely or from the Fort Worth, TX office.
Key responsibilities:
Analyze and design concrete structures while preparing engineering drawings and construction documents
Take ownership of structural engineering work currently performed by outside consultants and evaluate project requirements
Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to incorporate engineering considerations into project planning and executionRequired qualifications: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Professional structural engineering experience with a focus on concrete design
Hands-on experience analyzing and designing reinforced concrete structures
Strong understanding of concrete design, behavior, and construction
Experience completing structural calculations and developing engineering documents independently
