Skating Rink Assistant Manager The Skating Rink Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a safe, clean, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for guests and employees. This position assists with staff supervision, customer service, cash handling, concessions, birthday parties and special events, facility operations, and enforcement of rink policies and safety procedures. The Assistant Manager serves as a leader on duty and may be responsible for managing the facility in the General Manager's absence.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in customer service, recreation, hospitality, entertainment, retail, food service, or a similar environment preferred. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ability to supervise employees and provide clear instructions and feedback. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and professional when addressing difficult customers, employee concerns, or emergency situations. Ability to handle cash and complete basic mathematical calculations accurately. Dependable, punctual, and able to work with limited supervision. Ability to work effectively with children, teenagers, adults, families, and large groups. Basic computer and point-of-sale system skills preferred.
