Job Position: Print & OOH Media Buyer Location: Stamford, CT 06902 Annual Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 Hours Per Week: Full-time (35-40 hours) Location of Work: On-site at Stamford, CT, office. Prime downtown location, easily accessible by train, bus, and all public transportation. Might consider candidates for Ft Lauderdale, FL, office.
Technical Skills: Experience using SBMS, Google Maps, DoMedia & Geopath. Microsoft Office.
Position Description: Leading international media buying company is looking for an OOH Media Buyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves partnering with teams across a wide range of OOH campaigns. We are looking for someone who will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. Exceptional communication abilities and a proactive, professional demeanor are essential. This role offers the opportunity to engage in trade negotiations with OOH media partners, making strategic networking a critical component of the position.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage client, media partner, and internal communications related to account status and negotiations.
  • Plan and execute RFPs; distribute to relevant OOH media partners o Negotiate and secure OOH inventory while meeting profit goals o Uphold accuracy in all documents and correspondence o Leverage data to support OOH recommendations and optimize buys o Maintain expertise in OOH formats and offerings across the U.S o Utilize inventory banks and collaborate on new trade opportunities o Meet all proposal and client request deadlines o Handle planning and buying across multiple clients simultaneously
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow
  • Schedule and participate in client, agency and vendor meetings
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions
  • May be trained to buy additional media formats as needed Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Minimum 3 years of OOH media buying/planning preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using SBMS, Google Maps, DoMedia & Geopath
  • Strong multitasking, teamwork, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills IND2
