About the role

Rossen Reports is looking for an experienced freelance producer to work closely with Jeff Rossen on retail and shopping videos filmed inside major retailers. We reach more than 4 million subscribers and followers across our digital platforms, helping consumers save money and shop smarter. We’re looking for a resourceful, organized producer who loves retail, shopping, and consumer content. As we grow, this could evolve into a full-time role for the right candidate.
What you’ll do: Research assigned retail stories, including products, deals, price comparisons, and what’s worth buying—or skipping. Verify prices, product details, availability, and other facts before filming. Prepare research notes and organize the products and information needed for each shoot. Work directly with Jeff Rossen in the field, filming on an iPhone and helping bring each story to life. Capture product shots, price tags, demonstrations, and other supporting footage. Coordinate with our production and editing team to deliver organized footage and accurate story notes.
What we’re looking for: Prior experience in producing, digital content creation, television, or consumer-focused video. Strong research skills and attention to detail. Comfort filming on an iPhone, with an eye for framing and clean audio. A real interest in retail, shopping, lifestyle, and helping people save money. The ability to move quickly, meet deadlines, and work independently. A collaborative approach and comfort working closely with on-camera talent. Location and availability This is a freelance opportunity requiring in-person shoots in South Florida, ideally based near Boca Raton. Candidates must be able to travel to local retail locations. To apply Please send a DM. Plus, email your résumé, and a brief note about your producing and shooting experience, location, and availability.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
