About the role

Position Overview: The Administrative Assistant is the first point of contact for Millis Development, responsible for creating a professional, welcoming front-office experience for visitors, clients, vendors, and project teams while providing administrative support to office and project staff. This role keeps daily office operations organized, responsive, and running smoothly. Part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate. Administrative & Project Support   Perform accurate data entry and recordkeeping in company systems, including the ERP (Acumatica)   Assist with document handling - filing, scanning, certificates of insurance, and subcontractor paperwork   Support project managers, estimators, and office leadership with clerical tasks and reporting as needed   Assist with scheduling meetings, conference rooms, and office calendars Required  1+ years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative support role   Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and some ERP system experience   Professional, courteous communication skills by phone, email, and in person   Strong organization, reliability, and punctuality; able to handle confidential information with discretion   High school diploma or GED Core Competencies   Communication – Conveys information clearly and professionally across all levels of the organization   Accountability – Takes ownership of outcomes and follows through on commitments   Problem-Solving – Identifies issues early and drives practical, timely solutions   Collaboration – Works effectively across teams, trades, and departments to advance project goals   Adaptability – Performs consistently in a fast-paced environment   Attention to Detail – Maintains accuracy and quality across all work product Equal Opportunity Employer — Après Ventures an equal opportunity employer.
