Sales Executive / Producer – Wholesale Insurance
Location: Remote | Eastern Time Zone - Strongly Preferred
Compensation: Competitive base + strong commission splits
About the Opportunity: An established wholesale insurance brokerage and MGA is seeking a Sales Executive / Producer to join its growing Commercial Lines team. Backed by one of the largest insurance brokerage organizations in the U.S., our client combines the collaborative, relationship-driven environment of a regional wholesaler with the carrier access, technology, and resources of a much larger organization. Whether you're an established Producer or an experienced wholesale insurance professional looking to transition into a production-focused role, this opportunity offers the chance to develop retail agency relationships, build a profitable book of business, and grow your career within an expanding organization.
What You'll Do: Develop new business by prospecting and building relationships with retail insurance agents and brokers. Manage and expand existing retail agency relationships. Identify coverage needs and provide specialty insurance solutions for risks outside traditional markets. Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities from initial outreach through binding. Work with carrier partners to market submissions, negotiate terms, and secure coverage. Handle both binding authority and wholesale brokerage business. Serve as a trusted resource to retail agency partners, delivering responsive service and creative solutions. Meet or exceed new-business production and revenue goals. Participate in agency visits, industry events, and other business development opportunities as needed.
What We're Looking For: 2+ years of insurance industry experience, preferably within wholesale insurance, E&S, or an MGA/MGU environment. Experience with binding authority business, wholesale brokerage, or a combination of both. Binding authority experience is particularly valued. Working knowledge of Commercial P&C and specialty coverages. Existing retail agency relationships or demonstrated ability to develop new business. Previous sales or production experience is preferred, but candidates with relevant wholesale insurance experience and strong business development potential are encouraged to apply. Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills. A self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach to business development. Active Property & Casualty insurance license. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Why Join? Growth opportunity: Join an expanding organization with significant long-term growth plans and opportunities for career advancement. Collaborative culture: Work alongside a supportive team that values shared success, teamwork, and helping one another grow. National resources, regional feel: Enjoy the personal, relationship-driven environment of a regional wholesaler backed by the carrier relationships, technology, and resources of a major national organization. Earning potential: Competitive compensation with an attractive commission structure and opportunities to increase earnings as you grow and validate your book of business. Remote flexibility: Work remotely while developing meaningful relationships with retail agency partners. Interested in Learning More? Apply directly with your resume. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
