We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant I to join our microbiome research lab. The ideal candidate will contribute to studies focused on culturomics and mouse modeling. As a successful candidate, you will: Perform culturomics techniques, including anaerobic and aerobic culturing methods. Isolate and characterize microbiome species using microbial identification techniques and genomic analysis. Manage and care for laboratory mice, including monitoring health, administering treatments, and preparing biological samples. Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and protocols. Collaborate with team members to analyze data and contribute to publications. Support general laboratory operations, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications: Your qualifications should include: Bachelor's degree in biological sciences. 0-2 years of research/laboratory experience.
