Maintenance Assistant Schedule/Shifts Available: Full-Time-DaysMake a Difference Every Day – Join Care Initiatives as a vital part of our maintenance team! Join our compassionate care team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. If you're a dedicated and empathetic caregiver looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others during their healthcare journey, this is your opportunity to shine. What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities: Complete routine maintenance and repairs to keep the facility safe, clean, and comfortable. Monitor and maintain building systems, including heating, cooling, and equipment. Maintain outdoor areas, walkways, and grounds, including snow/ice removal as needed. Assist with heavy cleaning, floor care, and facility upkeep when needed. Follow safety policies and support inspections and preventative maintenance.
Qualifications:
Ability to multitask and complete assignments timely.
Interest in creating and maintaining a home-like atmosphere.
Passion for providing excellent customer service to our residents.
A strong commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.
