About the role

Position Summary: The Worldwide Procurement and Payment Organization group is responsible for driving business processes and relationships with financial partners that provide payment processing capabilities to PayPal Inc across all verticals and regions. This role supports our partner managers by designing, driving, and executing fundamental business cycles and programs.
Responsibilities: Provide daily operational support to key Payment Partner relationships globally, maintaining oversight of functional and operational activities as they relate to our procurement and payment partners. Identify, own, and triage issues or opportunities related to our procurement and payment processes. Gather data locally and remotely and coordinate with cross‑functional teams (including risk, compliance, product, design, and engineering) on the design and execution of partner programs. Design and execute programs and projects with global partners to meet PayPal's business objectives and operate in key verticals and markets. Serve as a focal point with our biggest partners to ensure we are delivering a high‑quality and sustainable proposition to them. Maintain an awareness of the financial health of the payment industry – highlight key metrics we need to achieve, analyze relevant trends, and surface opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in the payments industry, preferably in a fast‑moving, online‑focused organization. Strong domain knowledge in payments and the industry, including key technologies used in online commerce. Demonstrated ability to lead and drive impact in a high‑velocity, highly collaborative environment. Experience building and managing relationships with external partners, vendors, and sellers. Strong, independent work style with the ability to work seamlessly and autonomously in a complex global environment. Four‑year college degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA, graduate degree, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits: A base salary commensurate with experience, with a yearly performance bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including competitive health, dental, vision, and other benefits. Travel Travel may occasionally be required but is minimal.
