About the role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support commission calculations, payments, reconciliation, and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and ensuring financial information is accurate and timely. You’ll work closely with internal and external partners to investigate discrepancies, answer commission-related questions, and keep processes running smoothly. The ideal candidate brings a positive, proactive attitude and an interest in growing within finance and operations.
Compensation: $50,000-$60,000 + bonus
Schedule: Hybrid - North Charlotte
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to commission payment inquiries and clearly explain payment processes and requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to commission data, calculations, and payments.
  • Maintain commission schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Audit commission activity and research missing or inaccurate payments through reconciliation processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve commission-related issues.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad hoc reports.
  • Provide additional operational support during high-volume periods while maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
  • Requirements & Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfortable learning and working within customer relationship management systems.
  • Positive, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
  • Interest in finance and operations.
