About the role

Concrete Estimator / Project Manager Atlas Masonry & Concrete Greater Phoenix Area | Full-time | On-site Build the estimate. Understand the work. Follow it through. Atlas Masonry & Concrete is hiring a Concrete Estimator / Project Manager for large commercial and custom residential projects. This role combines detailed estimating with project coordination and cost control. We're looking for someone who understands what a project should cost and can help manage what happens after it's awarded.
What you'll do: Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to define concrete scope and complete accurate quantity takeoffs. Prepare detailed estimates and budgets covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project-specific costs. Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing. Document assumptions, exclusions, scope questions, and potential cost or schedule concerns. Coordinate assigned projects with clients, general contractors, suppliers, and field leadership. Track project budgets, committed costs, progress, and changes, identifying variances early. Prepare change pricing and maintain clear project documentation. Support job costing and project closeout, using actual results to improve future estimates.
What we're looking for:
  • At least five years of concrete estimating experience, including large commercial and custom residential projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and job-costing information.
  • Experience coordinating construction work and managing project responsibilities.
  • Practical understanding of concrete construction methods, sequencing, labor production, and cost drivers.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both field and office teams, manage priorities, and address problems promptly.
