Job Description We are seeking an Internal Cloud Hyperconverged Infrastructure Virtualization Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in VMware ESX, VMware vSAN, Linux, and enterprise virtualization operations and a proven ability to engineer, validate, and support a production-grade virtualization layer that meets enterprise availability, performance, resiliency, and operability requirements. Responsibilities: Engineer and maintain the VMware-based virtualization platform layer within the Internal Cloud HCI stack. Define and own virtualization engineering patterns, platform configurations, and operational standards for workload domains. Validate performance and resiliency behavior and ensure clean integration with broader HCI components delivered through automation. Support lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, stability triage, and production change processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4 to 5 years of experience engineering or operating enterprise virtualization platforms in production environments. Hands-on proficiency with Linux workloads and infrastructure troubleshooting in virtualized environments. Familiarity with VMware virtualization concepts and HCI fundamentals, including compute, virtualization, and storage interactions. Experience with lifecycle management activities such as upgrades, patching, performance analysis, and change control. Preferred Skills: 5 to 7+ years supporting virtualization platforms at enterprise scale. Experience supporting multiple workload domains, including VMs, container platforms, and grid or batch compute. VMware certification such as VCP, or equivalent training and experience.
