About the role

Akebia Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Vice President, Intellectual Property to lead the company’s IP function from Cambridge/Waltham, MA. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and partners with R&D/CMC to develop patent opportunities and portfolio strategy, while guiding litigation and licensing due diligence. The successful candidate will be a strategic business partner and cultural leader, with extensive biopharma IP experience and strong cross-functional collaboration
