About the Role: We're seeking a full-time Monogram Artisan / Leather Embossing Specialist to personalize our leather goods with precision and care. This is a versatile role that moves between three settings: Our workshop in Secaucus, NJ: embossing and hot stamping personalized and corporate logo ordersROYCE retail boutiques in Manhattan: monogramming for clients in-store as needed, including during busy seasons and events On-site monogram gifting activations: traveling to corporate events, client venues, and brand experiences to personalize pieces live for guests Whether you're in the workshop or in front of a crowd, you'll bring the same skill and polish to every piece, delivering a premium experience through exceptional craftsmanship.
What You'll Do: Personalize leather goods with precise monogram embossing and hot stamping Set up embossing equipment, align letters, logos, and symbols, and run test embosses as needed Prepare leather items for customization and select fonts and layouts that fit each piece Inspect finished work for accuracy, alignment, and finish quality Travel to on-site activations, set up and break down a mobile monogram station, and engage warmly with guests while working efficiently under time pressure Support boutique teams by monogramming for clients in-store and helping them choose personalization options Coordinate with production, corporate sales, and customer service teams on special and bulk orders Maintain tools and machinery, keep workstations organized, and follow safety and quality standards Pack, transport, and care for equipment and supplies for events
What You Bring: Hands-on craftsmanship skills, including experience with leather and comfort with manual and semi-automated embossing and hot stamping tools Strong attention to detail, with the ability to align monograms accurately, keep results consistent, and carefully inspect finished pieces Mechanical aptitude to operate, adjust, and maintain embossing equipment, including troubleshooting on locationA friendly, professional presence with clients and event guests; comfort working in public-facing settings Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple orders and meet production and event deadlines Clear communication to follow detailed order specifications and collaborate across teams Flexibility to travel locally and out of state, sometimes overnight, and to work a variable schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks with precision, and lift and carry equipment (up to about 40 lbs)Previous experience in leather goods, personalization, engraving, or luxury retail production is required
