About the role
About the CompanyJust Construction is representing a leading General Contractor in the search for an experienced Project Manager to join their team.Ideal candidate will have ground up mixed use experience in South Florida and have the ability to manage mid-large scale projects simultaneously.About the RoleThe Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned construction projects, overseeing the project from pre-construction through final closeout. This includes managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, contracts, change orders, client relationships, risk, quality, and overall project performance. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial construction experience, excellent financial and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple project stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesTake overall ownership of assigned projects from pre-construction through completion and closeout.Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, subcontractors, and overall project performance.Review drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and other project documentation.Work closely with Estimating during pre-construction, including subcontractor/vendor selection, scope review, constructability, and bid coverage.Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and procurement schedules.Lead subcontractor buyout and ensure scopes are fully covered within project budgets.Prepare and manage subcontract agreements, purchase orders, scopes of work, and contract requirements.Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, correspondence, and overall project documentation.Coordinate closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and Owners.Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders.Monitor project progress against schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.Identify potential project issues early and develop proactive solutions.Maintain strong relationships with Owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, punch list, and project closeout activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.3+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.Strong understanding of construction processes, estimating, purchasing, scheduling, and project controls.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, Owners, architects, and consultants.Strong understanding of project financials, budgets, cost forecasting, and change management.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.Required SkillsStrong financial and commercial awareness.Excellent client and subcontractor management skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions.Strong understanding of construction contracts and project documentation.Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.Strong leadership and communication skills.A proactive approach to project management.Commitment to safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.Preferred SkillsNone specified.Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive Base Salary + Benefits Package.
