CPT-11020 Legal Administrative Virtual AssistantIndependent Contractor – Business Support VA / Junior to Senior Level (Remote).20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Virtual Assistant to support a growing law firm specializing in real estate closings and litigation support.This role focuses on administrative and legal support tasks such as document preparation, file management, client coordination, and handling phone communication. The ideal candidate has strong English communication skills, is comfortable handling sensitive information, and is open to learning internal systems and workflows.This is an excellent opportunity for a VA looking to build a long-term career in the legal field.The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:Document Preparation & File ManagementConvert and format documents (PDF to Word, editing, formatting)Organize and maintain digital legal files and recordsAssist in preparing basic legal documents and correspondenceEnsure accuracy and proper documentation standardsLegal & Administrative SupportAssist with real estate closing documentation processesSupport light litigation tasks (e.g., discovery assistance, document gathering)Draft simple letters and email communications as directedCoordinate and track required documents for cases or closingsClient Communication & CoordinationCommunicate with clients via email and phone calls (inbound and outbound)Answer and route calls professionally, taking messages when necessaryFollow up on document requests and outstanding itemsServe as a support point of contact for basic client inquiriesMaintain professional and clear communication at all timesData Entry & System ManagementInput and update information in legal or closing software (e.g., Qualia)Maintain organized and accurate records within systemsAssist in tracking case or transaction progressEach engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client's requirements:Qualifications1–3+ years of experience as an Administrative or Virtual Assistant (legal experience a plus)Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (required)Comfortable handling phone calls in a professional setting (required)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretionComfortable learning new systems and processesProactive, reliable, and able to work independentlyExperience with real estate or legal workflows is a plus (not required)Application Software Knowledge / Required ToolsDocument Management Microsoft Word, Google Docs, PDF toolsCommunication Gmail / Email, Phone systemsFile Storage Google Drive / DropboxLegal Software Qualia or similar (preferred)Contracted Hours per Week: 20 HoursScheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)Daily Working Time: Approx. 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST (flexible within 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST)Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA's schedule with the Client's preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW.
